Jennifer Faulkner Artistic Director, Dance Teacher

Jennifer has a B.A. in dance from The University of Akron and is Pilates certified. She has also studied dance at The University of North Carolina. She attended New York University’s Summer Dance Program, where she had the opportunity to study with with Bebe Miller, David Dorfman, Doug Elkins, and Doug Varone. She has worked with Boston Ballet’s Citydance program, and has been teaching in the Boston area since 1998. She has performed with The Choreographer’s Group in Cambridge, MA and continues to stay active in the dance community. She has attended teaching seminars in Boston, MA and Las Vegas, NV.

Danny Guzman Dance Teacher

Danny was introduced to dancing and music since birth. He comes froma family that plays instruments and values these arts as part of their culture. He was introduced to break dancing(aka b-boying) in 1998 and has been an enthusiatic dancer and competitor ever since. He recently won the 1st place title at “The Breaks”, New York’s biggest and toughest break dancing competition. He has taught several workshops and helped out with summer programs in Fitchburg and Leominster. Danny’s positive attitude and passion for this specific art of hip hop dance is clear when you see him perform or teach.

Danielle Mullins  Dance Teacher

Danielle Mullins started dancing at the age of three under the direction of Jim Caisse and is trained in all dance discipline. Danielle has performed and competed throughout New England, in Bermuda, Epcot Disney, and aboard the Norwegian Majesty Cruise ship. She is a graduate of Fitchburg State College where she earned her Bachelors degree in Business Management, and she also studied at Franklin Pierce University for one year under a Dance major. Danielle obtained her Dance Teacher Certification through Dance Educators of America and continues to keep her skills current by attending various dance workshops. She also is certified to teach Zumba.

Darnell “Snoopy” Brown Dance Teacher

Darnell “Snoopy” Brown has been dancing has been dancing since the age of fourteen. What started as just recreational freestyling with hip-hop movement quickly turned into a potential career that he would be extremely passionate about. Dance has always been a way for Snoopy to express his feelings while at the same time being an active channel for him to pass along positivity to whoever crosses his path. Darnell’s professional dance career started soon after his introduction to a newer dance style called “Krump” which gave him his foundation in dance.

Jackie Grady  Dance Teacher

Jackie was educated and trained at The Boston Conservatory of Music. She competed regionally and nationally in dance for 10 years. Also, she has studied acrobatics and gymnastics. Jackie has been teaching for over 15 years, and formerly owned and operated her own studio’s in New Jersey and Massachusetts.

Renee Zuccola Dance Teacher

Renee is from Boston, MA where her extensive dance training began. Before joining the Movement Center Dance Studio, Renee lived in Los Angeles and managed her two passions in life. First dancing professionally for Disneyland Resorts & Parks and also teaching.

Prior to receiving her BFA in Dance from Arizona State University, she was a Company Performer for Boston Youth Moves, where she studied Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Jazz, Tap Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Repertory, & Voice. Renee also attended Boston Conservatory Summer Intensive Programs. Renee has also lived in NYC where she had the opportunity to attend Peridance Capezio Center programs, Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway and many programs including the Paul Taylor Dance Company intensive and classes at Alvin Ailey. In Renee’s earlier years of dance she also won many awards while competing.

Emily Loscocco  Dance Teacher

Emily was always drawn to movement and began dance training at the age of five, and began seriously training at the age of ten.  She became a student of Wayne Stewart, formerly of the Royal Ballet and the Royal Scottish Ballet.   At the age of twelve she was given the opportunity to participate in the Youth America Grand Prix.  The ensemble she participated in placed in the top twelve at the finals in New York City. At the age of 15 Emily was offered at place at the Kirov Academy in Washington D.C.  After a semester at the school she was offered an apprenticeship with Orlando Ballet. That year she was offered a contract to join the Orlando Ballet Company under the direction of Bruce Marks.
During Emily’s second year at Orlando Ballet, Bruce Marks unexpectedly left the company. At the recommendation of Marks, Emily decided to move to Columbus, Ohio to join Ballet Met lead by Gerard Charles. In 2011 Emily joined Festival Ballet Providence. Over the past three years Emily has been featured in many principal roles including, George Balanchine’s Apollo; Marius Petipa’s The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, La Bayadere, and Carnival of Venice ; Mihailo Djuric’s The Nutcracker. Emily has made guest appearances both nationally and internationally. In addition she loves sharing her knowledge of ballet and has taught for Alaska Ballet Theatre and for other studios throughout the country.

Lisa Thibodeau Dance Teacher

Lisa Thibodeau holds a Master’s degree in Dance Education from Lesley University. Additionally, Lisa has studied choreography with Garth Fagan in Brockport, NY. She has studied many forms of dance including Jazz, Modern, Creative Movement, African, Ballet, Contact Improvistation, and both International and American styles of Ballroom and Latin dancing. Lisa studied Ballroom with Kari Hyytienen and Ann Heiermann, and has had coaching from Jean-Marc Generoux and Edward Simon.Throughout her studies and career she has taught students ages 3 to adult with a variety of educational needs.

Katy Nordhougen Dance, Zumba, & Pilates Teacher

Katy has been teaching ballet, pointe, jazz, tap and modern dance classes locally for almost 20 years. Katy performed with the DMDC Youth Dance Company throughout her teens, and graduated from Roger Williams University in 1995 with a B.A. degree in English, Dance, & Philosophy. She has studied with many well know artists in the dance community, and attends conventions and fitness seminars regularly. Katy has taught at the Jeanette Neill Dance Studio in Boston and at the prestigious Walnut Hill School. Holding personal training and group exercise instructor certifications from AFAA, as well as multiple Zumba licenses.
